Construction:
Wool pile on wool foundation. Hand-knotted & hand-woven Wool on Wool, wool pile & wool fringes, tribal Ghoochan rug from Afghanistan. Circa 1990s. Traditional Ghoochan design showing motifs and symbols of tribal life such as stars, tents, plants, flowers, animals, etc. The cornices of this carpet appear to have camels, elk, horses and others.

Colors:
Many colors including grape, pistachio, paprika, wheat, emerald, Persian blue, coral, forest green and more!

Condition:
Excellent.
