leather straps on the bottom salveges for the rug's better placement. Fabulous
hand-made Persian Bakhtiari rug from the 1970s but never used--like new condition!
Allover pattern--in the format of a prayer rug, all the panels point to one
direction. Wool on cotton construction. Fabulous wool--will last at least a
generation or two.
Exact size: 9' 6" x 6' 9" Stated length includes two inches of fringe
on each side and one inch kilim. almost 1/2" thick pile.
The traditional Bakhtiari design, colors and weave. SATISFACTION GUARANTEED!
Bakhtiri tribe lives in central and central south Iran.
Can be used in the most formal settings but still a functional wool rug. Function
with beauty--the best of both worlds!
Gorgeous repeating pattern is made up of the subtle contrast between red and
maroon, bronze and fushcia, many greens, blues and a wheat.
